Week of 9/13 – 9/17
Buddy classes took a walk to Los Gatos Creek for Tashlich (Jewish atonement ritual). Buddies discussed things they did wrong this past year and how they can improve in this new year. Then, they cast off small pebbles into the running water to "throw away" what they did wrong.
6th Grade/Kitah Vav presented their “Human Homonyms” in English Language Arts.
Our Middle School Student Council created posters for our Tikkun Olam Food Drive for the Ecumenical Hunger Program.
Our 6th and 7th graders met with their 3rd grade little buddies.
Kindergarten/Gan celebrated Kabbalat Shabbat with Rabbi Laurie Matzkin from Jewish Silicon Valley and PJ Library.
7th Grade/Kitah Zayin assembled kits to give out to homeless people when seeing them in the streets.
