In Yavneh News

At Yavneh, we are committed to academic excellence rooted in Jewish tradition and practice. We learn Jewishly by doing Jewishly.

Students in all grade levels have been spending time helping JFS Silicon Valley create Rosh Hashanah-themed gift bags for local housebound seniors, Holocaust survivors, and low-income families. The Middle School students, led by alumni Max (’20) and Ethan (’22), worked together to stuff the gift bags and get them ready for delivery this week. This comes after a period of intensive study in the Middle School of the High Holy Day liturgy, with a direct focus on social justice and charitable giving.

Helping to ensure the greater welfare of society at large is central to a Yavneh education.
