David SabesMiddle School Jewish Studies

David is excited to be joining Yavneh Day School as the Middle School Jewish Studies Teacher. He is a lifelong resident of the Silicon Valley Jewish Community.
The eternal Jewish Summer Camp Counselor and Educator, David has spent much of his life dedicated to working and volunteering for youth programs in the Jewish Community. For many years, David taught middle school and high school Jewish Education programs at Midrasha in the East Bay. He has a long relationship with the Yavneh both as a parent of a graduate and as a teacher where he has been an on and off substitute for all grades.

David has experience as a corporate trainer, legal policy researcher and business developer. Including, spending time as a member of the Learning and Development team at Tesla.

David received a BA in Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of California, at Berkeley and his JD from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Along with teaching at Yavneh, David currently serves as the Chair of the Personnel Commision for the Town of Los Gatos.
